Useful independent checkpoints

A 1945 newspaper license notice pairs Davis T. Waguespack with Eva Mae Anderson; the issue date is not a proved wedding date. A Lafourche transcription lists Robert Wagespack and Ernestine Foret marrying on 7 February 1880; the original register is still needed.

The earlier bridge remains open

Joseph Wagensbach and Barbe Ackerman are a documented historical couple, but their parentage of the elder Louis has not been proved. An empty parental slot in a tree is a research question, not permission to attach the most familiar candidates.
