Limits: Exact death day remains unknown; no GEDCOM date replacement.
The same reproduced partition names seven heirs: Jean-Louis, Andre, Joseph, Catherine, Madelaine, Marguerite and Mariane.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: moderate
Limits: Obtain the underlying partition before adding or merging children. Mathurin is not in this list; absence does not establish childlessness or death.
The abstract calls the widow Marguerite Visi; identifying her as Madeleine Edelmeier is disputed.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: high that disagreement exists
Limits: Source parentheses are editorial, not verified original wording; preserve both claims.
Copied civil abstracts cite a 15 April 1758 receipt from Louis Vasquebac in an Edelmeier inheritance settlement.

Limits: Not disproved merely by a Louisiana appearance three years earlier; place is retained and needs a source.
Louisiana State Archives identifies St. Charles colonial records 1740-1872 as collection P1976-043.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: high
Limits: No Joseph estate or tutorship act was retrieved. St. John original acts 1753-1798 are S2003-027.
The reported 1720 Phalsbourg marriage has a precise retrieval lead: FHL film 1331670 p 93.
Gianelloni reconstructs a damaged release naming Andres Antoine and a possibly named Louis Waguesbaq as sons-in-law of Jean Edelmayer.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for what the calendar reports; moderate for reconstructed wording
Limits: Original sheet missing; Louis and father have printed question marks; date unreadable. Wife and parents not named. Do not replace the gap with the later reported 15 April 1758 date.
The endorsement abstracted with a 15 November 1762 receipt names Louis Vaguesbac among Jean Aidelmer’s three sons-in-law and refers to agreements of 1758 and 1762.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for published abstract
Limits: Underlying original not viewed; endorsement and receipt are distinct parts. Does not name the wife or Louis’s parents.

Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for abstracted transactions

Jacob Toutchek and his unnamed wife sold their habitation to Jacques Maillard on 17 September 1757.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for published event
Limits: Wife unnamed. Do not identify her as Barbe Ackerman; the 1748 marriage abstract calls Jacob her widower.
The 2 July 1748 marriage abstract identifies Hans Jakub Tutzek as widower of Barbe Vagenspache, supporting Barbe Ackerman’s death after 9 January 1742 and before 2 July 1748 when linked with his earlier marriage.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for abstract; high for historical spouse identification
Limits: No exact death day or burial obtained. Frames 94–95 reviewed but too faded for independent full transcription. No new Geni parent records created.
No Joseph/Barbe estate or child guardianship was identified in the calendar’s complete 1741–1742 sequence.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for this bounded calendar check
Limits: Sparse surviving record set; one listed marriage contract is missing. Does not prove there was no estate or guardianship.
Electronic searches of WPA Black Books 46 and 47 found no identifiable Wagensbach/Ackerman/Tutzek family document.
LAColonialDocs surname-stem queries did not identify the target family; its archive is distinct from the parish original-acts series.
The 1794 partition lead belongs to the Conrad St. Charles series; the original act 1201 and printed p 242 remain uninspected.
Confidence, limits & sources
An HNOC-hosted guide independently maps the early St. Charles original-acts series to specific historical microfilm numbers; two other institutions list St. Charles holdings.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for the published reel/date mapping
Limits: Historical FHL numbers are identifiers, not a FamilySearch access recommendation or verified local reel numbers at LHC/UL. NOPL states no copies or remote copying. LHC lists 1740-1972; retain printed range without correction.
The previously unsourced pre-30 March 1783 death claim can be traced to a copied abstract of Conrad act 545, p 105, naming Widow Louis Vaquespacq.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Moderate for the copied citation; original unverified
Limits: Neither Conrad p 105 nor the original act was obtained. The copied transaction concerns the sale of an enslaved woman named Catherine, reported age 40 and Bambara origin, to Pierre Rieux for 550 piastres. It names no parents and does not prove this widow is the 1794 petitioner. Do not replace the inherited death date.
Electronic searches of WPA Black Books 48-68, covering 1743-1748, found no family-stem match in the extracted text.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for recorded files and search outcome; low for genealogical absence
Limits: 168 pages contain fewer than 40 alphabetic characters in extracted text; blank pages, faint scans and OCR omissions remain. No complete visual read or absence proof. Collection is distinct from St. Charles parish originals. A spot check of book 60 PDF p 5 verified an index image only, not all pages.
No Wagensbach/Waguespack/Ackerman/Tutzek/Clomb family-stem entry was identified electronically in the Orleans clerk French Colonial Records index.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for the checked index; low for absence in all notarial records
Limits: The guide describes only about 230 discrete French-period documents, bulk 1761-1767, and estimates this as at most 2 percent of original output. Search is not a review of the whole archive or its 17 folios of c 1744 court minutes. No estate or original act obtained.
A copied set of receipts dated 6-7 May 1805 offers another identity-chain target involving a widow Louis Waguespack and Marguerite Edelmayer.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Low to moderate; incomplete or inconsistent bibliography
Limits: Underlying book, edition and original act numbers not established. The profile labels its Conrad source 1700-1803 despite reporting 1805 acts. Do not infer the widow died in 1805 or identify her with Madeleine. The receipts describe sales involving enslaved people Jasemin and Jean-Baptiste; retain those names when obtaining originals.
The original Beinheim register records Anna Barbara, legitimate daughter of Michael Ackermann and his wife Maria, baptized 30 May 1697.
Confidence, limits & sources

Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for event, date, groom and widower status; moderate for the bride’s surname reading
Limits: Do not infer the bride’s parents. Obtain a second paleographic reading of Abwenden and examine intervening births/deaths/marriages before attaching grandparents. No link to Louis is supplied.

Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for metadata; no claim about article content
Limits: Public issue contents were read via the issue-selection form. Article full text was not obtained. Pages 379-384 are an inferred span from the next article, not verified article pagination. Do not treat the index as evidence for wife identity or parentage.
The publisher’s Les Voyageurs surname index places Joseph Waguespack and Louis Waguespack on the same indexed page, 1-2-20, and separately lists Louis Waguespac at 2-2-37.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for index entries
Limits: Volume 1 belongs to the journal’s 1980 start; precise issue month not verified. Other targets: Wagensbach Joseph 9-3-111, Wagespack Joseph and Jean Louis 9-2-75, Jean Louis père 10-3-112 and 10-4-161. These are index pointers only. Early issues were not found in the checked public shop catalog; that is not proof they are unavailable elsewhere.
Institutional catalogs identify a separate 1981 Conrad volume covering German Coast civil records 1804-1812, a plausible correct source for the copied 1805 receipts.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for existence/title/date scope of volume
Limits: Neither pp 14-15 nor original 6/7 May 1805 receipts were obtained. Do not cite the 1974 volume ending 1803 as if it contained these 1805 acts. Exact act numbers and page match remain open.
The original Phalsbourg entry of 23 July 1720 blesses/confirms/ratifies the marriage of Joseph Vagenspach and Anne Barbe Ackermannin; it names Joseph’s father Jean and deceased mother Margueritte, and the bride’s parents Michel Ackerman and Marie of Beinheim. It explicitly refers to the parties’ transport to Louisiana.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for date, couple, named parents and Louisiana wording; exact groom-origin place remains a provisional reading
Limits: The entry confirms/ratifies a marriage already legitimately contracted;23 July is the recorded church act, not a ship departure or proven first civil ceremony. A struck-through different groom precedes the correction to Joseph: preserve the correction in transcription. Mother Margueritte has no maiden surname here. Groom birthplace is not normalized from an uncertain reading. No ship or Louis child is named; no unsupported parents attached to GEDCOM.
Joseph’s origin in the 1720 Phalsbourg original can provisionally be read Augenem proche fortlouis; Auenheim near Fort-Louis is a plausible search candidate.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Moderate for exact toponym reading; high that the original contains an origin clause
Limits: Reuses E39 original and is not a newly discovered event. No silent birthplace replacement. Historical geography and the second Auenheim in Baden must be distinguished; no normalized birthplace accepted.
Targeted original-register and catalog checks did not identify Joseph’s baptism; Schwobsheim’s own digitized baptism series starts 1710 and Rountzenheim’s Catholic series starts 1763.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for catalog ranges and spreads inspected; no exhaustive absence finding
Limits: Only four retained spreads individually read, with additional wayfinding images distinguished in log. Adjacent parish/annex coverage not established.3E465/17 baptisms cover 1738-1739, not 1699; its long catalog range mainly describes burials. A record may survive elsewhere or be missed in difficult script.
PERSI identifies a St. Charles Parish acts index 1804-5, A-D in Les Voyageurs vol 1 issue 2 (June 1980); it does not establish which article contains indexed Joseph/Louis on p 20.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for indexed title/issue/month; page association unresolved
Limits: The court article may or may not be the page 20 reference. Do not assign the two indexed men to the colonial founding generation. PERSI surname Waguespack 7 and Wagens 0 results did not identify an early family article; coverage and indexing limits apply. Actual issue/article still required.
Electronic searches of two Robert Wideen Soufflenheim notarial indexes,166 PDF pages, did not yield a target Wagensbach/Waguespack family stem.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for stated electronic results; no full visual/original-act search
Limits: These are Soufflenheim selections, not complete Auenheim/Roeschwoog regional coverage. No Wagen-family hit does not prove none in original 6E33 repertories or inventories. No maiden surname, parent or grandparent attached from name similarity.
Publisher indexes supply new, precise Terrebonne Life Lines retrieval targets for Joseph Wagensbach/Waguespack (Winter 1983 pp.12-13), Andre Waguespack and Julie Robert (Spring 1985 p.33 onward), and a Spring 2002 Wagenspack cluster (pp.57-58).
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for retained index locators; underlying articles have not been read
Limits: No full old issue/article obtained. PERSI description c.1762 Germany/LA is unverified article metadata, not an accepted birthplace or identity. Do not merge Andre with the Andres buried in 1788, or assign indexed Joseph/Louis to the founding couple without reading the text and its sources.

Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for name, date and edition context; OCR date corrected from printed image and Latin closing

The inherited tree places the two Benjamins in Eric's maternal Darsey line; younger Benjamin is a recorded fourth-great-grandfather and elder Benjamin a fifth-great-grandfather.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for what the tree states; genealogy unproved
Limits: No independent father-son proof obtained. Working-tree selection omits many collateral relatives; one retained child is not a complete family.
A visually read typed Jefferson County record transcript names Benjamin Darcey and Martha Young, with license dated 6 December 1809 and marriage return 4 January 1810.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for typed text; couple match strong
Limits: Not the original handwritten register. No ages, parents or suffixes; transcription accuracy cannot yet be checked against the manuscript.
Joel Darcy's 11 December 1845 pension declaration identifies father Joseph and brother Benjamin, reports Benjamin's Revolutionary service and Laurens settlement.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Strong for family testimony; original unread
Limits: Do not transfer Joel's battles, captivity or escape to Benjamin. Dates in Joel's account contain known errors; an original pension-file image and Benjamin's own records remain needed.
Linked marker photographs read Benjamin B. Darcy, 1746–1828, creating a 1746/c 1748 birth conflict with the DAR entry and inherited tree.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inscription; historical dates/burial unproved
Limits: Five files are not five independent sources. Marker erection date and headstone application unread. Later church-history 1847 first-burial claim cautions against treating marker as proof of burial in 1828.
A 2008 researcher's abstract reports both Benjamin Darcey Jr and Sr on a 6 February 1810, $2, 000 guardianship bond for children of William Darcey.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for posted wording; underlying record unverified
Limits: No proven identification of Jr with Martha's husband and no explicit father-son statement. Bond lists four wards; appointment lists five. Source-series key mapping unverified.
The 1850 Champagnolle transcription lists Benjamin Dorsey 60, Martha 50, Caroline 23, David 13; separate John R 30 precedes them. A later William Y 33/Frances 32 household includes Henry 6.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Strong candidate family cluster; original unread
Limits: 1850 table does not state relationships. William is several households later, not next door. Martha 50 implies c 1800 birth, in tension with 1810 marriage and inherited c 1795 estimate; do not force a correction or assume continuous wife identity.
A local historian places a Benjamin Darsey among 1808 road supervisors and first Laurens grand jurors; Hampton and McDaniel handled William Darsey's estate at the first Inferior Court session.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected account; individual attribution provisional
Limits: No Sr/Jr suffix in these passages. Original court entries not inspected. Missing Superior Court Minute Book A reported by historian does not establish that the different probate/Inferior Court records are lost.
A published Laurens deed abstract records a 30 January 1830 receipt of$600 from Benjamin Dorsey for Isaac, an enslaved man about 25.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for abstract text; younger Benjamin identity provisional

A compiled family website reports Leodicy's death in February 1850 in Decatur, citing the 1850 mortality schedule; inherited tree says 1830.
The inherited Joseph Darsey death 24 April 1794 is in tension with Joel's 1846 account of a widowed mother during his youthful wartime capture.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for conflict; no resolved death identity
Limits: Joel's chronology is imperfect and the prison-ship Joseph is not securely disambiguated. Do not silently assign that death to father versus brother or accept copied royal pedigrees.
The original 1830 Buncombe census, p.260, image n509, lists Henry Woods directly after Aaron Freeman; Henry's household has one male under 5, one male 20–29 and one female 15–19.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source content; qualified identity and inference
Limits: Strong candidate for target and reported in-law group; census does not name wife/child/parents or creek and consecutive enumeration does not prove adjoining parcels.
The preserved Geni export assigns John/Jonathan Wood and Nancy Ann Phillips but notes lack of firm evidence; WikiTree assigns John Thomas Wood and Mary Ann Greenfield. Neither parental couple is proved.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source content; qualified identity and inference
Limits: No parent-naming original obtained. Callahan's 2000 post leaves parents and the Hiram relationship unresolved; the later compilation cites her. The probate lead has a date/volume mismatch.

Record confidence: High for inspected source content; qualified identity and inference
Limits: The 1850 and 1860 original images were not inspected. No replacement birth year or revised lifespan accepted.
Turkey Creek/Sandy Mush is a geographic lead through Freeman material; Henry Wood's exact property remains unproved. The Scotts Creek 1811 deed has an older same-name competing identity.

The original 1850 Ozark County census records Henry Wood, 44; Martha, 27; and John, 16. It also includes Jonathan, 1, and an adult named Shipley, both omitted from the derivative compilation. The enumeration date is 28 September 1850.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for directly inspected record content; uncertainty retained where stated
Limits: The census does not state relationships. Shipley’s given name is uncertain, and the column marks do not establish a marriage date. The inherited 1795 birth date has not been replaced.
The original 1860 Willow Springs census records Henry Wood as 53, correcting the derivative reading of 59. The household also lists Martha, 37; Joel, 13; Ozias, 9; Wesley, 7; Martha, 5; Mary, 2; and Sarah, 5/12. Read alongside Henry’s age of 44 in 1850 and the likely 1830 household, these ages favor a working birth estimate around 1806.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for directly inspected record content; uncertainty retained where stated
Limits: The exact birthday remains unresolved. Ages 44 and 53 differ by one year from a ten-year increase. These records do not prove parentage or a lifespan of more than a century.
HW.CENSUS1860.ORIGINAL, HW.CENSUS1850.ORIGINAL, HW.CENSUS1830
The original 1840 Jackson Township census lists Henry Wood’s household with two males aged 30–39, on the same page as Aron Freeman, Iry Freeman and Samuel Wood. In 1850, Aaron Freeman, 67, and Alabeth, 63, appear in household 301; Samuel Wood, 50, and Lavina, 37, appear in household 302. The repeated names strengthen the association between these groups.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for directly inspected record content; uncertainty retained where stated
Limits: The 1840 census names only household heads; it does not name Henry’s other household members or identify the second adult male as Hiram. Association across 1830–1850 does not prove kinship, joint migration, adjoining land or Henry’s exact Buncombe home.
HW.CENSUS1840.ORIGINAL, HW.FREEMAN1850.ORIGINAL, HW.CENSUS1830
The original 1850 Champagnolle census lists John R., 30, in household 29; Benjamin, 60, Martha, 50, Caroline, 23, and David, 14, in household 30; and Wm. Y., 33, Frances, 32, and younger members in household 41. Georgia is recorded as the birthplace of each of these household members.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for directly inspected record content; uncertainty retained where stated
Limits: The schedule does not state relationships. The high-resolution reading of David’s age as 14 corrects the earlier reading of 13. Mary’s age is provisionally 3, with 4 considered; the mark after Henry’s name does not securely establish a middle initial. Enumeration order does not prove geographic adjacency. The household does not establish the younger Benjamin’s relationship to Sr.
The original 1880 census for Manhattan ED 400 lists Henry Schubiger, 31, and his household at 308 West 37th Street. His occupation is recorded as lager beer saloon and his birthplace as Switzerland. The adult Magtalena, 32, is recorded as born in Germany.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for directly inspected record content; uncertainty retained where stated
Limits: The Schubiger relationship cells are blank. Reported paternal birthplaces differ among the children. The younger Magtalena’s age of 1 year 4 months and Minnie’s age of 1 month do not establish exact birthdays. The 1881 Henry’s parentage and the proposed Kuhn maiden surname remain unproved. West 37th Street is established through district context and independent directories; the census margin itself says 37th Street.
Original Trow directory pages list Arnold Schubiger in the beer trade at 308 West 37th Street in the edition ending 1 May 1889, copyrighted in 1888. The edition ending 1 May 1890, copyrighted in 1889, lists Lena Schubiger, widow of Henry, at 222 West 36th Street.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for directly inspected record content; uncertainty retained where stated
Limits: The records do not establish Arnold’s relationship to Henry or a business succession. Identifying Lena with the 1880 Magtalena remains provisional. Edition labels do not establish exact event years or Henry’s death date.
The official NYC birth index directly confirms entries for Henry Schuhbieger, 17 June 1881, Manhattan certificate 313978, and Emil W. Schubiger, 5 July 1883, Manhattan certificate 371052. A compiled Newark church index supplies a separate retrieval lead for Mina Schubiger’s 1902 marriage, image 9692.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Qualified to the source type and inspection scope
Limits: The birth certificates and church register have not been inspected. Emil’s indexed 5 July date conflicts with the tree’s 4 July date. The official and GGG index entries are not independent witnesses to the birth. Mina/Minnie and Lena Kuhn identities remain unproved; no new relative has been added.
The official 1955 New Jersey death-index image lists Ilario Minero and John Minero with the same state file number, 24401, and the same June 1955 death month. The locality codes identify Jersey City as the place of death and North Bergen as the place of residence.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for directly inspected record content; uncertainty retained where stated
Limits: The shared file number suggests an alternate-name cross-reference; it does not prove an alias. The certificate is needed for the exact day, spouse, parents and birthplace. No Italian hometown is established, and the older man must not be merged with his separately recorded son John Louis.
The recovered publisher obituary for Gladys Malina names the recognizable Waguespack family and uses Clement J. for her father. Its account of the move to Marfa conflicts with the contemporary 1926 newspaper chronology.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Qualified to the source type and inspection scope
Limits: The later family account has an unnamed informant. The contemporary 1926 account carries greater weight for the 1920s chronology. Neither the legal name nor any parentage has been corrected from this comparison.
A third-party transcription of the younger Clement Joseph’s Social Security material names his father as Edward Waguespack, providing a specific record to verify.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Qualified to the source type and inspection scope
Limits: The underlying SSA application or claim and government data row have not been inspected. The unusual maternal-name spelling and conflicting death date for the younger man remain unresolved. No Social Security number is retained. This is a derivative lead, not inspected original government evidence.

Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Qualified to the source type and inspection scope

Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Qualified to the source type and inspection scope
Limits: The government ZIP was downloaded and this row read directly in memory; no preserved binary claimed. Index is not the original license. Age supports a birth between 30 June 1944 and 29 June 1945, not an exact birthday.
Harold Gettys's published obituary supports the Vera/Gettys/Donna Farr family link; attributed family details are retained in the maintained report.

Freeman’s earlier parentage has conflicting copied traditions. One account distinguishes Chowan John from a Bertie cousin; the Hoyter identification remains an inference.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for contradictions in inspected accounts
Limits: No alternate father, maternal identity, ethnic descent or DNA conclusion is established. Original Chowan and Bertie records and the migration chain remain needed.
AR.TREE, AR.FREEMAN.TRADITION, AR.FREEMAN.HOYTER, AR.FREEMAN.WILL1782
Lewis Grimes, recorded born 1777, and Sarah Winders, recorded born 1769, create an incompatible eight-year mother/son gap. Duplin deed abstracts also describe Sarah in 1828, conflicting with a recorded 1804 death if she is the same woman.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for sourcecontent; originalreadings unverified
Limits: The abstract does not explicitly call Lewis a son. Originals were not obtained; duplicate representations share a compiler. The 1759 alternative is a lead, not a correction.
The 2001 first-person Grimes cemetery account says four markers, including Lewis's 1857 commemoration, were placed in 1999 and individual burials were uncertain.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for author statement, not independently observed
Limits: Modern marker is not an independent contemporary death/burial record. No old gravestone, death document or interment register inspected.
The targeted review strengthens the original Freeman will’s named son Aaron and the printed Perkins/Mary Anthony/Jesse event. Smalley’s birth-parent names survive the calendar-date challenge; Perkins, earlier Freeman and Grimes questions remain open.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Source-specific; no whole-tree certification
Limits: No whole-tree certification, replacement parents or live-tree changes. The recent Darsey and Robin investigations remain separate; source inspection and structural checks are distinct from genealogical proof.

The family-supplied memorial card names Ilario Minero, died June 11, 1955, age 75, and Leber Funeral Home in Union City. The full name and date, family custody and explicit 1950 census relationships make a very strong match to Robin’s recorded great-grandfather.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source fields
Limits: The funeral-home city is not necessarily the death place, residence or burial place. The card names no relatives, parents or Italian town. The enhanced image is not independent evidence.
Carlo Minero’s family-held card records February 19, 1942 and Bosetti Funeral Service in Union City, New Jersey. Its prayer is Italian. No relationship to Robin, Ilario or Carmelina was established.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source fields
Limits: No age, birthplace, spouse, parents, death place or residence is supplied. The Italian prayer does not establish nationality or immigration. The free 1930–1948 state-index gap is not absence of a certificate; the inaccessible Union City list was not searched.
Carmelina Minero’s family-held card records November 23, 1960 and DeLucia Funeral Home, 111 Belmont Avenue, Paterson, New Jersey.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source fields
Limits: No age, maiden name, spouse, parents, children or residence is supplied. No Carlo-spouse or Ilario-relative inference is justified.
Linda Becker’s family-held remembrance card records December 4, 1964. No age or relatives are printed on the inspected face.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source fields
Limits: The poem does not supply personal biography. No age, funeral home, address, maiden name, spouse, parents or burial is stated. The exact day comes from the card, not the monthly index.
Ilario’s reported age of 75 on June 11, 1955 conflicts with the inherited February 1879 birth, which would make him 76. The 1950 census age of 70 also conflicts with February 1879. A later 1879 birthday is compatible, including the unproved August 27 user-tree date.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source fields
Limits: Reported ages may be inaccurate. No exact interval was calculated from census enumeration day. The August day, Italian town, ship and parents remain unproved. No inherited date was changed.

The original 1960 New Jersey index records Carmelina Minero, state file 51288, death locality 16401, residence 16154 and November 1960. The historical key identifies Paterson City as the death place and Haledon Borough as the residence. This strongly matches the card.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source fields
Limits: The index supplies month and year only, with no day, age, maiden name or relatives. Certificate 51288 remains unread. The first four locality digits were interpreted; no meaning was assigned to the fifth.
RB.CARMELINA.DEATH1960, RB.NJ.LOCALITYCODES, RB.CARD.CARMELINA1960
The original 1964 New Jersey index records Linda Becker, state file 59449, death and residence locality 09301 and December 1964. The historical key identifies Jersey City for both fields. This is a strong candidate for the December 4 memorial card.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source fields
Limits: The index supplies no exact day, age, parents, spouse or maiden name. Certificate 59449 and a contemporary notice are needed. No identity merge was made from similar names.
The original April 4, 1950 Haledon census at 10 North 12th Street, ED 16-90, sheet 9, serial 89, lines 9–10 records Italy-born Carmelina Minero, 74, as head, and New Jersey-born daughter Nellie, 33, a telephone-company supervisor working 40 hours. Carmelina’s naturalization field says No.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source fields
Limits: Carmelina’s marital-status handwriting appears widowed but is disputed; the occupation modifier is unclear. Birth about 1875–1876 is an estimate. Nearby John and Elizabeth’s household does not prove kinship. Neither Carlo nor Ilario is linked. The citizenship answer is not a court-record search.
Two consecutive original 1950 Secaucus census sheets, ED 9-157, sheets 24–25, serial 232, house number 810 show Emma, 46, a New Jersey-born widow whose surname appears Ollenwetter, and her mother Linda Becker, 66, also a New Jersey-born widow. Linda’s parents are recorded as Swiss. This is a possible Melinda–Emma research bridge.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source fields
Limits: The street is unresolved; it must not be called Minnie Street. The place is Secaucus and the relationship is mother. Emma’s surname and marriage remain unverified. Age, parental birthplaces and the approximate 1951 tree death conflict. The 1950 Linda, 1964 Linda and imported Melinda remain separate identities. A child namesake is excluded from the 1882 Melinda identity, not automatically from the ageless card.
The complete Becker entries inspected on 1951 New Jersey index PDF pages 45–46 contain no Linda, Melinda or Malinda Becker. This bounded check supplies no replacement death date.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source fields
Limits: Only the selected 1951 Becker span was checked, not all years, jurisdictions, surnames or possible omissions. This does not disprove an approximate 1951 death or prove the 1964 identity.
The original 1990 New Jersey annual index, printed page 783, records Louis F. Minero, file 0031709, born July 24, 1909, died May 31, 1990, age 80, with HUDS NOBET in both locality fields. Name, initial, age and locality strongly fit the son Louis F. in the 1950 household; the index does not name parents.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source fields
Limits: No parents, spouse or Italian birthplace are supplied. North Bergen is the interpretation of HUDS NOBET. The adjacent Louis without F, born in 1913, remains distinct. The possible explanation of John Louis’s contradictory 1990 note is speculative. Sensitive source columns were not transcribed or served. No tree addition was made.
Current official New Jersey Archives guidance says the Department of Health owns deaths after 1950, while the State Archives has 1951–1965 death microfilm for public in-person research. This creates a documented access route for the 1955, 1960 and 1964 certificate targets.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source fields
Limits: This corrects the incomplete earlier guidance that Archives copies end in 1950. It does not establish online certificate availability or family identity. No order, archive contact or payment was made. Guidance was checked October 27, 2026.
An original 1944 Matador Tribune notice describes Lt.Dan Darsey of CampCarson, Colorado, returning after visiting his parents Mr.andMrs.T.J.Darsey and relatives nearFlomot/inMatador. This provides a contemporary wartime place and lieutenant rank for the strongly correlated family member.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for the printed name, place, rank abbreviation and family details; exact issue/page date unresolved
Limits: Front masthead/catalog say 1 June, page 2says 25 May. Possible stale header or misassociated page remains unresolved; assign no exact Tuesday. Lt.alone does not specify grade. No unit, duties, overseas service, service number or promotion date supplied.
The original 21 September 1944 Matador Tribune notice names Lt.Vera Darsey of CampCarson, Colorado, visiting her parents-in-law Mr.andMrs.T.J.Darsey; Robert Darsey and TomNell Darsey also appear.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for inspected source fields
Limits: Does not identify Dan unit, duties or overseas service or establish that spouses served in the same organization. The separate 1946 opinion remains an existing later judicial source.
Nova Darsey obituary in the 13 April 2006 Muleshoe Journal explicitly reports that husband Dan preceded her in death 20 March 1965. This is newly noticed corroboration from an already known source, stronger than the earlier weekday-only inference.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for what the inspected obituary prints; event accuracy still to verify
Limits: The inherited GEDCOM 18 March 1965 date remains a conflict. No death certificate obtained and no working/live-tree change. The same obituary remains the source of the uncorroborated wartime factory distinction.
Full provider OCR texts for Northrop News special issues 1 May 1946 and 5 October 1949 contain no exact whole-word Nova, Nora, Cary, Carey or Wood. The exact-title catalog query returned27metadatarecords, all examined, with no 1942–45 issue in that result.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for performed query/text search; limited to returned metadata and OCR representation
Limits: Postwar issue text only; images not visually inspected, OCR imperfect. One title query is not all surviving holdings. These negatives cannot establish nonemployment or absence from wartime newsletters; first-woman claim remains unconfirmed.

The Huntington Northrop inventory page 192lists an August 1945 Monthly Company Directory limited to administrative and supervisory personnel on all shifts, providing a specific but occupationally restricted research target.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for the finding-aid description; no employee entry inspected
Limits: Directory is not a complete production-worker list. The directory, Coleman manuscript and 1942–45newsletters remain unread. Absence from its restricted coverage could not disprove Nova employment.
A supplied photo of a contemporary Northrop Aircraft, Inc., Hawthorne, California vacation earnings statement names N W CARY, department11, for the period ending 20 June 1945. Family identification and Wood/Cary name history strongly correlate the employee with Nova. This adds contemporary documentary support for employment beyond her later obituary.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for employer, printed initials/surname, department and period end
Limits: No job title or first-woman distinction. Not a hire/quit date, exact shop, address or aircraft assignment. Undated handwriting does not fix chronology. User supplied this source; assistant did not discover it. SSN and unnecessary private fields omitted.
John Andrew Wood funeral notices in the 15 October 1967 Bailey County Journal and 19 October 1967 Sudan Beacon-News name daughter Nova Dorsey and three California daughters: Ethel Boisclair of South San Gabriel, Lucille Blasingame/Blassingame of Baldwin Park, and Nena Bradley of Los Angeles. Sudan explicitly gives 12 Octoberdeath; both name ten surviving children.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for printed family relationships, locations, names and dates
Limits: 1967 locations do not prove wartime residence. Similar wording may share one family account, not independent informants. Ten survivors is not a total-child count. No silent Nena→Geneva or Boisclair→Schwab correction.
Derivative memorial pages name Lucille Birdie Wood Blasingame, Ethel Lorene Wood Schwab and Geneva Joyce Wood Bradley in the same Wood sibling group as Nova. Lucille plus12linked siblings yields a13-child candidate roster; selected pages report later California burials.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for what the read mirrors display; underlying family assertions unverified
Limits: Mirrors can repeat the same contributed genealogy. No original vital/census evidence or wartime residence date. Ethel Boisclair/Schwab and Nena/Geneva Bradley bridges require records. Burial place is not residence proof.

VA-derived burial data match John S Swantek's 3 May 1917–21 September 1990 dates and identify US Marine Corps, PVT, WWII, GN/site 426; Lea is explicitly listed as his wife at the same site.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for published fields; original VA/service file unread
Limits: No unit, enlistment, discharge or combat history. Lea is a relationship lead, not a proven marriage sequence; preserve Florence. Related mirrors are not independent.
Leber's John Minero archive gives 23 June 1915–10 October 2006, a strong candidate for the inherited John Louis record and a one-day birthday conflict.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for provider's displayed dates
Limits: Notice names no parents/spouse; June 23 versus inheritedJune 24 remains unresolved. Do not combine with Louis F. 1990 or infer birthplace.

Original baptism on 22 September 1747 names Marie Barbe Ackermin, wife of Toutcheck, as godmother. With E24, this narrows the probable Joseph-widow’s interval: alive on 22 September 1747; deceased before 2 July 1748.
Confidence, limits & sources
Hall’s database records widow Louis Vaquespaig selling Catherine,40, on 31 March 1783, document 546. This closely matches, but does not exactly agree with, the copied Conrad 30 March/abstract 545 lead.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for the exact published row and codebook interpretation; original act unread.
Limits: No personal name for widow or exact death date. Hall document number is not proved identical to Conrad abstract numbering. Date, buyer Vieux/Rieux and Masicot 1783 assignment require originals. Individual independence from Conrad remains unproved.
Hall’s database records an unnamed widow Louis Vaquespacq buying an unnamed 24-year-old woman from Joseph Camps (Cams) on 16 June 1788, document 841.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for the retrieved published row; manuscript not inspected.
Limits: Missing-name code 9 is not a personal name. Does not identify widow personally, prove elder Louis’s death bound or establish kinship. Original document 841 and its Conrad counterpart remain to inspect.
An institutional funeral abstract records Marie Eldemaire, widow of Louis Woiwoiguespack,92: died 13 March 1830 at her son Joseph’s home; interred 14 March. St. James residence is also mentioned.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for the printed entry; handwritten register unread.
Limits: Prints Marie, not Madeleine or Marguerite. Residence grammar remains qualified. Age 92 suggests approximately 1737/1738, without proving a birth date. Identity with the 1741 baptism,1794 Visi or 1831 Magdeleine remains unproved.
An institutional funeral abstract names Catherine Woiwoiguespack, widow of Jean Baptiste Champagne, as daughter of deceased Louis and Magdeleine Delmaire. She died 14 February 1831 at the home of Andre Champagne’s widow; interred 15 February.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for explicit printed parent and spouse wording; handwritten register unread.
Limits: Does not resolve Visi or prove one versus successive wives. Approximate age differs from inherited c. 1766. Andre Champagne’s widow is not assigned to Madeleine; copied 1805 Andre was already her widower.
New historical sources support Alsatian Auenheim’s Uffried/Roeschwoog jurisdiction and Sessenheim religious affiliation. No Joseph baptism or exact pre 1733 Catholic register survival was established.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for source statements actually read; contemporary historical boundary acts not inspected.
Limits: Parish creation, building date and register survival are distinct. An undated annex relationship cannot prove 1699 jurisdiction. Baden Auenheim is separate; images require access. Boesenbiesen’s later attachment does not establish an earlier mother parish.

A fuller reading of the retained 1720 Phalsbourg original supports Joseph as ‘natif d’augenem proche fortlouis Diocese de Strasbourg’. Auenheim remains a possible interpretation, not a proved normalization.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for parents, native-place grammar and Fort-Louis wording; central locality glyphs provisional.
Limits: Clarification of the already known E39 event, not a new ancestor. No age, baptism, ship departure, mother’s maiden surname or son Louis. Does not disprove Schwobsheim without census original. Reinspection did not promote the candidate 1680 grandparents.
Hall's structured extraction of a 13 May 1803 St. Charles record explicitly calls Catherine Waguespack the widow of Jean Baptiste Champagne.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for literal retained database fields; underlying act uninspected
Limits: No parents or spouse of elder Louis are supplied. Generic deceased/estate field labels do not prove Catherine died in 1803; the comment says the sale was at her request. DOCTYPE 1 means estate inventory although prices and a sale comment are entered. Dataset estate key is not an archival call number. St. Amand document number is not verified as Conrad's abstract number. No manuscript image or printed Conrad page was obtained.
An original Edgard burial on 2 May 1788 identifies Andres, age 27, as legitimate son of Pedro and Catrina Ofman; it belongs to the Pierre/Hofman collateral family.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for burial date, parents and age; surname initial/letter forms provisional.
Limits: Burial is not separately stated death date. No birthplace, Louis relationship or identity with unread PERSI article subject. Selective transcription, not certified full page.
An undated copied land list names Josephe Wagensbach as possessor, offering a property-chain lead toward later succession records but no heir relationship.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for name/possession; initial W/V provisional; date and numeric unit unestablished.

Eric's recorded route reaches Squire Boone Jr. in eight generations through Jonathan, Frances Ann, Grandison, Fannie and Nellie Keltz. Published accounts corroborate Squire's brother Daniel, his Jane Van Cleave marriage and son Jonathan. The 1788 Boone genealogical narrative is reported to have passed to Jonathan.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Strong historical family identification; Eric's complete descent unproved
Limits: The proposed relationship is through Daniel's brother, not descent from Daniel. Later Boone/Keltz links need original records. Samuel 1728/1736, Frances 1820/1842 and Grandison 1890/1895 conflicts remain. Spraker derivatives are not independent witnesses.

Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Credible, source-correlated candidate; not a certified celebrity pedigree
Limits: The Aaron/Jannetje and later Boone/Keltz links lack original-record verification. Jannetje's 1682 date is a baptism in the cited file. The older biography passage was indexed only. Duplicate Jan parent families are not two independent lines.

Peter Stebbins Craig's 1997 account describes Olof Stille's 1638 Penningby castle jailbreak with an axe, death sentence and commutation to a fine. Eric's inherited route through Peter Yocum and Ella Stille places Olof at generation 12.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for the article's account; descent remains inherited
Limits: Original Swedish court documents were not read. The twelve-generation descent is not independently certified. Selected PDF text was checked; no complete visual review is claimed.
The export's Gertrude → Hans Månsson/Ella Stille assignment conflicts with Craig's probabilistic paternity and earlier-family account. Another Gertrude Svensdotter line names Sven Skute where the specialist identifies Sven Gunnarsson. These are consequential cautions for the affected cousin loops and famous-family extensions.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Strong reason to withhold the affected relationship claims
Limits: No parent was replaced. Hans's paternity is itself unproved. His fruit-tree conviction does not establish descent to Eric. Original evidence and the intervening links remain open.
Levi Day Boone's 1808–1882 full-export profile and collateral Boone chain imply 2C6R to Eric. Chicago Public Library corroborates his 1855–1856 mayoralty and January 1882 death, while giving December 8 birth against the export's December 6.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Strong identity candidate; complete kinship not independently proved
Limits: No exact birth correction adopted. The public biography's word 'nephew' does not establish precise generational distance. Intervening parent links need verification.
An indexed Reitwiesner table gives a Schenck → Voorhees → Neilson → Dill → Michael Douglas lead. The proposed ten/nine-step relationship would be 8C1R to Eric. PBS independently discusses Douglas's Neilson/colonial New Jersey ancestry, but neither source proves Eric's full connection.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: Lead only; below the confidence of the Vanderbilt chain
Limits: The full Reitwiesner page timed out or returned 502. All parent links and Sara's first/second-spouse context were not reviewed. PBS does not prove the complete Schenck chain. No blood relationship to Kirk Douglas or Scarlett Johansson is inferred.
The original 12 November 1724 census narrative calls Joseph,23, a native of Schwobse in Upper Alsace, Roman Catholic and farmer, with an unnamed wife; it describes two years on his plot and about 11barrels of rice.
Confidence, limits & sources
Record confidence: High for native-place word Schwobse, age, religion, occupation, wife and land-duration wording; surname glyphs provisional. Provider resolution limited.
Limits: 1720 Augenem/FortLouis remains a conflicting native-place statement. Two years modifies occupation of the plot, not an explicit arrival date. No wife name, parents or child.
